We at the Mulkern Foundation are thrilled to announce that we have been accepted by Prospero World's Charity Adoption Programme. This fantastic initiative lends fledgling non-profits such as ours their charitable status as well as a huge wealth of expertise and guidance.
With the "giving season" approaching, we look forward to collaborating with founders Anna-Louisa Psarras and Agata Sivokhin on our Christmas fundraising campaign, which will focus on employing English teachers in Syria (who often earn as little as £30 a month) to provide free catch-up lessons to teenage students who, due to financial crisis resulting from twelve years of war and natural disaster, are often forced to sacrifice their studies in favour of paid work so that they can support their families.
